I am very pleased to announce that ‘Life on a Thread’ has won the Sir Edmund Hillary Award at The Mountain Film Festival. Thanks to everyone involved in the production and at the festival!
Great news! Life on a thread is being shown on Outside Magazine Online, one of the biggest outdoor / adventure magazines in the United States. This is amazing news and great exposure for the film.
I was one of 24 film makers world-wide selected to attend the Banff Adventure Film Maker’s workshop. It was a fantastic event in the beautiful rocky mountains where I met some amazing people and learned so much. The Banff film festival is a great event that showcases some of the best adventure films in the world. It was an honour to be invited and I’d love to go back.
It’s been a long and interesting road, but we’ve finally finished. Searching for Happiness is now released online, be sure to have a watch on the projects page.
In other news, Searching for Happiness has been selected to be screened at the SeeMor Short Film Festival in Anglesey.
I’m really pleased with how the film turned out and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped.
Searching For Happiness is completed with a brand new colour grade and original score. The finished film looks and sounds fantastic and will be uploaded shortly.
I’d like to take this opportunity to give a huge thanks to Roger Smith and to everyone to helped me create this film.
Searching For Happiness is currently in the colour grading studio with the incredibly talented Sara Jade Murphy. The finishing touches are being added to the colour of the film, getting it ready for it’s release date.
Keep watching this space everyone, it’s only days away from release!
After a short hiatus we’re back in the studio working on the composition for the film.
There have been a few changes made and after hours in the studio I’m very happy to report that the music sounds fantastic. Not long now until the final release.
Editing with a sea view.
The first rough cut of 'Happiness' is finished. The music is currently being composed. Not far to go now until the finished film is released.
Today was my last shoot day with Roger and Happiness. We managed to get all of the shots we were after, as well as a few extra. It's been an interesting experience and I'm vert grateful to Roger for all his help. On with post-production.
The perks of shooting a film at sea with a fisherman. You get given a huge amount of fish to eat. Plaice sourced in North Wales; delicious.
